IMPACT OF USING ENGLISH SUBTITLED MOVIES IN STUDENTS’ SPEAKING ABILITY

چکیده

This study develops a different way to teach language, namely by using subtitled films as medium. Here the researcher uses cartoons and English subtitles. The purpose of this was determine speaking ability experimental control groups, well significant effect on class XI students at SMA Negeri Ngoro for academic year 2020/2021. design quasi-experimental with nonrandomized group design, pretest-posttest design. There is film subtitles medium in teaching speaking. Teaching more effective than film. So, can conclude that have an impact students' ability.
